SAFETALK LivingWorks A four hour workshop that provides training in suicide alertness for anyone aged 15 or older. The goal is to help people to recognize when a person is having thoughts of suicide and connect them with appropriate resources. Training is conducted in-person across North America. COST: Variable. Some facilitators offer this training for free. Others ask for a fee. |
MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID CANADA Mental Health Commission of Canada Mental Health First Aid training is offered through the Mental Health Commission of Canada. The course is designed to help you provide help to a person experiencing a mental health problem or who is in crisis. Training is offered both in-person and virtually year round. COST: Variable. Range is $150-250. Group rates available. |
